TransTape is another method of chest compression. It uses kinesiology tape to displace the breasts, pulling them to the side and flattening them. It is common in people looking for chest masculinization. It is often used by FTM trans people and AFAB (assigned female at birth) non-binary or gender non-conforming people.
Taping is safe when done correctly and can be worn longer than a binder, but only use the correct kind of tape and apply it correctly. TransTape has plenty of videos on YouTube for applying it to different body types. Tape should never go over your back, as it can prevent breathing and cause permanent scarring, and never use duct tape or bandages to bind.
